Tanken works the way an open card network does. Many fuel brands already run on our rails, so we're shared payment infrastructure, not a closed scheme like Radius or Corpay. Do I have to leave my current payment provider?
No, and nothing you already accept changes. Tanken is added at the EPOS layer as an extra acceptance route, completely separate from your acquirer, card schemes and any fuel-brand card. There's no integration with your payment or card providers, you drop nothing and re-route nothing — the way accepting AMEX or a mobile wallet simply sits alongside everything else.
Will it work with my EPOS, and what does integration cost?
Almost certainly yes — we work with nearly all UK forecourt EPOS providers, including HTEC, Gilbarco Veeder-Root, Dover Fueling, Suresite, EDGEPoS and more. We cover any EPOS-side integration cost ourselves, so for you it's a one-click enable of a new alternative tender. It sits at the EPOS layer only, separate from your acquirer and card providers, and settlement data is relayed back into your EPOS for accounting.
Are you a fleet fuel card like Radius or Corpay?
No. We're a payment method, not a closed fuel-card network. Many fuel brands already run on our rails, so we're shared infrastructure rather than a scheme that competes with Shell, BP, Radius or Corpay. You accept us alongside everything else, added at the EPOS layer, and we bring our own consumer and business customers to your forecourt.
How fast do I actually get paid?
